Roadrunners 

Roadrunners is the Sports Club of the IIS Officers Trainees. Recreation with spirit of sportsmanship is main objective of Road Runner Club. IIS probationers actively participate in all the kinds of sports which help them in keeping their body and mind agile, alert and increases concentration.

Members of Sports Committee: Mahima Vashist, Nirgude Yogesh Babenrao, Neha Jalali, Suresh Kumar Gadela.

Presently, the club is facilitating creation of sportsmanship among officer trainees. Officer Trainees after returning from day tiring sessions of training relax themselves by playing badminton, cricket, Table-tennis, carom etc

 The club is currently focussing on building sports infrastructure in the IIMC campus. The tasks before us as of now are:

• Repair of the campus Tennis Court
• Construction of an indoor badminton court
• Refurbishing the sports equipment available at the academy
• Setting up of a gym in the Officers Hostel
• Exploring the possibility of access to the JNU Sports facilities for IIS Officer Trainees

Aside from these, we have a lot of exciting ideas up our sleeves, including the organization of the first IIS-IIMC Sports Meet. There is a long way ahead for us to go, but with continuous work and creativity, the aim of our club is to leave the IIMC Campus far more of an active sports playground for future batches to come!
